The students were given the slightly daunting task of A Dialogue with a Stranger this week - but many overcame the nerves to speak to someone they don't know and managed to get some great images!






On Monday 27th March we held a Masterclass where Photography and Dance students collaborated on a number of activities based around the idea of 'Embodying the Other'. There were various activities through out the day, some of the results of which can be seen here...
In Responding to Chiaroscuro, the students found different ways of exploring light and the impact well-considered lighting can have on a subject. For the full series of responses head over the the G+ community, to whet your appetite here are some selected images:




This week, a Familial portrait. The students responded to the task to create a image in response to their relationship with someone they know well taking into consideration that the image needs to explore the space in the personal relationship. Experimentation is key.




For the second task, the challenge was to create a self portrait. Through reflecting on the lecture session and thinking about the different elements that make up the 'self' the students have responded in diverse and interesting ways - checkout the G+ page, this week's selected work can be seen here:
